Theatre Educator
Demi has had a variety of education experience, in theatre and otherwise, from kindergarten to twelfth grade. She finds teaching to be one of the most fulfilling occupations a person can have. Demi plans on pursuing a full-time career in theatre education, as she is currently studying for her MA, but for now, she considers herself a freelance teaching artist.

Spanish Immersion After School Teacher for Arlington Public Schools
(2021-present)
Responsibilities include:
- planning and executing a Spanish curriculum for elementary school students
- ensuring the safety and welfare of the students in the program
- communicating with guardians
- collaborating with program staff to plan activities
- classroom and behavior management skills
Theatre Teaching Artist at Arlington Community Education
(Summers 2023 – 2025)
Responsibilities include:
- planning and executing one-week classes in a variety of theatre topics for grades K-6
- reflecting on lessons and making improvements during and after classes
- time management and behavior management
- communication with guardians and supervisors
Education/Stage Management Intern at Greater Boston Stage Company
(Summer 2019)
Responsibilities included:
- scheduling theatre camp activities for children grades 4-9
- producing and executing two weeks worth of an educational theatre workshop
- keeping track of medical needs
- communication between parents and camp staff
- entertaining children with games during free time
English Language and Culture Assistant for the Spanish Ministry of Education
(2020-2021 school year)
Responsibilities included:
- acting as a teaching assistant for a primary school English and Science classes
- designing and executing specialized culture lessons
- working with students individually and in groups to reinforce language skills
